What we collect and why
1. When you contact us - If you complete our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and any information you choose to include. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you.
2. When you subscribe to our updates - If you sign up to receive our insights, we collect your name, email address, company and (optionally) country and role through our email provider, Flodesk. We use this only to send the updates you have asked for. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
3. When you visit the site - We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate site usage. It collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and does not track you across websites. Analytics data is processed within the European Union.
We do not buy, sell or rent personal data, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share data with
- Webflow - hosts our website.
- Cloudflare - provides website security and delivery.
- Flodesk - manages our email and subscriber communications.
- Plausible Analytics - provides privacy-first, EU-based website analytics.
These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Cloudflare and Flodesk are based in the United States, and limited technical data may be processed there under recognised international data-transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and a reasonable period afterwards. We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@alexanderandco.ltd. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
